What is the difference between Round and D-ring metals?

Round ring metals are just that – round mechanisms that are common in binders.

D ring metals can hold slightly more pages than Round metals, and they always mount to the back cover of a binder. Angle-D ring metals help to present the contents of the binder a bit more professionally and, if tabs are used, they are more apparent with Angle-D metals.
